Considering two hotels in Venice-
Does anyone know anything about Hotel Antiche Figure or the Hotel Abbazia? Both seem like affordable options for Venice.

JR have you check tripadvisor......
both have great reviews. As far as Venice price is a personal matter...We've stayed at "Guest House as Portico" twice and in May we're going to try "Rooms in Venice B&B". For us it doesn't have to be fancy...clean is very important. I think you will be very pleased after reading the reviews on tripadvisor.
We have stayed Hotel Abbazia several times and really liked our experience there. This past August Delta lost my wife's luggage and Matteo and Mirko were extremely helpful. We were there for 6 nights and the hotel offers a good value.
Cannereggio is a crowded area, but Venice is always crowded. Hotel Abbazia is located on a quiet calle (alley) away from the confusion.

We stayed at the Abazzia for 3 days and loved the place. Breakfast buffet is good and staff really helpful. Very nice rooms as well. VERY convienient to the train station. We would definitely stay there again. Make sure to have an Aperol Spritz at the bar or anywhere in Venice!
