Car Rental

In May we will be staying at LaFerriera in the village of Loro Ciuffenna. The address of the Hotel is Arezzo. We will be coming from Rome. Just wondering if anyone has rented a car from the Avis car rental in Arezzo?

Go to AutoEurope.com and check their competitive fares. They're a consolidator and often use other famous brand car rental outfits. We got our car at Hertz in Florence 4/12.

Not all of the big U.S. car rental operations are well run in Europe. You might want to read on Rick Steves' Graffiti Wall to see which names in Italy come as good rental operations.

One thing nice is that many Italian car rentals don't charge drop off fees at other Italian cities.

An aside....
I stayed in Loro Ciuffenna and LOVED it.
One of my favorite places in Italy - because I love the villages.

When you stayed in Loro Ciuffenna did you go to Arezzo at all. We were wondering how far Arezzo is from Loro Ciuffenna?
