christmas shopping in rothenberg ob ter tauber
We will be in rothenberg tomorrow, christmas eve and christmas day. Will the stores be opened on these days?

Unfortunately, their website shows that today, the 23rd, is the last day for their Christmas market. In reference to the stores, for sure they will not be open on Christmas Day. And, if I would take a guess, I don't think they will be open on Christmas Eve. Generally, their holiday is the 24th, 25th, and 26th. However, you will enjoy a beautiful white Christmas--unless the rain has washed away the snow. I was there last week and it was gorgeous. Have a wonderful German Christmas. Frohe Weihnacten!

According to their website, the Käthe Wohlfahrt stores will be open until 2 PM on Christmas Eve. If Käthe's open, I'm sure the competition will probably keep similar business hours.
No white Christmas for Germany this year.
Most stores in Germany, if open at all, close between noon and 2pm on Christmas Eve. They won't reopen until the 27th. Better get prepped!
