Sleeper Train Edinburgh to London - Caledonian

I'm looking at taking the Caledonian Sleeper Train from Edinburgh to London. It looks like there is a few stations in Edinburgh as well as arrival stations in London. Are there more convenient stations in either city to take?

Thank you!

Try posting in the section called To the North which covers UK and Scotland. WE did it in the opposite direction a few years ago, think it was Euston in London and know it was Waverly Street in Edinburgh which was very centrally located. There are several people on that site who are very familiar with train travel in UK. Enjoy.

Unfortunately you don't have a choice. The Caledonian Sleeper leaves from the station known just as "Edinburgh", and doesn't stop at the Waverley station. In London you will arrive at Euston: the central stations in London are mostly termini of entirely separate lines rather than consecutive stations on a single route.

The code EDB for Edinburgh Station is for Edinburgh Waverley Station. It is the same place. Sorry, Philip.

The sleeper goes from there to London Euston. There are no other London choices for that train. Have a look at the official website http://www.scotrail.co.uk/content/station-facilities
