Milan to Amsterdam via Switzerland

Hi

I am planning to travel from Milan, Italy to Amsterdam through switzerland in April.
I have 5 days in switzerland. I definately want to do the Glacial Express or the Bernina Express and see atleast 2 places. So we decided on Bern and Lucerne and I am planning the following Itinerary.

Apr 12 - Apr 13 - Train from Mialn to Lucernce. See Lucernce
Apr 14 - Take fast train from Lucernce to Chur. Take Glacial Express from Chur to Zermatt. Stay the night in Zermatt
Apr 15 - Apr 16 - Train to Bern from Zermatt. See Bern
Apr 17 - Train from Bern to Amsterdam

Would this be the best Itineray to see these places? Would Interlaken be a better place to see than Lucerne? According to what I read, I understand that April is not the Best time to Visit Interlaken.
I added the stay at Zermatt, just to break the train journey.
I basically want to relax in a nice scenic environment and not do too much of hiking or site seeing.

Thanks

If you're not hiking, it probably doesn't matter where you stay, as long as you can find a room at an open hotel. I would not, however, go out of my way to visit Zermatt and then only spend one night. If your goal is to see the Matterhorn... well, mountain weather is frequently foggy and overcast in April. With only a one night's stay, you risk not seeing much of anything.
