Is there a shuttle from the airport in Naples into the city? What is the cost, location to catch it, where it takes you... I also need a hotel in Naples preferably convenient to the shuttle if there is one, and close to the archeological museum.

Alibus runs a shuttle into Naples, it stops at the central railway station (and I think goes onwards to Beverollo port, but we got off at the station). I think it was around 3 euro per passenger. You catch it outside the terminal and pay the driver.
I can't remember the name of the hotel we used, but will look it up and let you know.
There has been talk about making a rail link from the airport for years - it still didn't exist when we last went, but I would be interested (like you), if it does now exist.

I don't have any information on the Shuttle, but you might consider Hotel Chiaia in Naples. It's in a nice area, the hotel is very comfortable and the staff is wonderful. As I recall, it's within walking distance from the Archeological Museum.
