lodging in amsterdam/paris
My friend and I are planning a trip to Amsterdam/Paris. We were wondering where would be an economical place to lodge?

Hi Robin. What's your hotel budget? I can recommend the Quentin Arrive Hotel in Amsterdam (minimum 3-night stay); and in Paris the Hotel Cluny Sorbonne and Hotel Londres Eiffel.
Hotel Diana and Hotel Saint Pierre( the one by the Sorbonne, several hotels have similar names),, both clean, cheap, and very well located in Paris.
How long will you be staying in Paris? The last two times we have been there we booked an apartment rather than a hotel. We like the convenience and the price is usually better. We use vrbo.com but you can Google Vacation apartment rentals in Paris and find other resources. This April we will be visiting Amsterdam for the first time but will stay in Haarlem. Have fun.
