we will be staying in a villa in Greve the end of June. How hot and buggy might it be? Also staying in Lucca . Same question.

End of June in Tuscany is generally as hot as Dante's Inferno. Mosquitoes will eat you alive as well.I suggest you buy some clip on bug repellent (you can clip it to your belt) and eat plenty of garlic (the suckers don't like garlicky blood).

You need to re-post this with a more specific title, such as: weather in Greve/Lucca June. To the boot is not specific enough to get an answer from an expert on the area you are travelling to.
