Sleeping in Amsterdam

We're awaiting delivery of Rick's book, but can someone provide any recommendations of reasonable one-night accommodations from his book? Thank you.

Thank you, LaRae. And these hotels are near the cruise ship docks?

The Movenpick Hotel is at the cruise ship terminal. There is an Ibis Hotel connected to Centraal Station. Also check out the Avenue Hotel, and the RHO Hotel.

Hotel Brouwer is very close to the train station...maybe a five minute walk. I liked it because it's an old canal house. The elevator doesn't go to every floor so let them know if that is an issue for you.

We stayed at Hotel Brouwer as well. It was a great hotel. The rooms are really charming. The stairs are really narrow and the elevator really small - like most in old Amsterdam buildings. But it was an easy walk from the train station - not sure where cruise ships dock, though.

We have stayed at the Movenpick also. Great hotel. Got it at a bargain on a travel site - Hotwire, Expedia, hotel.com, or something like it.
