3 oz bottle limitation
Does the 3 oz limit for bottles apply to items in the luggage you check or just the carry on items?

Just your carry on, you can pack what you want in your checked luggage (but be mindful that some airlines have weight restrictions). Check with your airlines web site.
Also to keep in mind that the 3 oz limitation applies to the container size. My husband had to throw away a contact lens solution bottle that was larger than 3 oz even though there was less than 3 oz of liquid left in the bottle.
