Logrono, Spain

we're traveling from Detroit and want to know the best way to get to Logrono, Spain. Preferably at a reasonable price and not too inconvenient. I see flights from DTW to CDG to Bilboa, Spain. But then I guess you need to take a train to Logrono spain. Or you need to go through madrid to get to logrono spain. Anyone have any advice?

'flights from DTW to CDG to Bilboa' - seems convoluted when you presumably can fly direct to Madrid (I would not know).

For all permutations of trains whether from Madrid or Bilbao see www.bahn.de (The Spanish rail network site is www.renfe.com but is eccentric with provision of indirect train journeys). You could also bus from Madrid with www.alsa.es
