Granada to Barcelona?

Vueling Airlines or train? Or should we switch up our itinerary a little and go from Sevilla to Barcelona?

Since the train takes a long time, many prefer to fly from Granada to Barcelona. Search this Helpline (search box is in the upper right), and you'll find comments on the night train, the day train, and Vueling.

As for departing from Granada vs. Seville, that obviously depends on the rest of your itinerary. If you post that, people can give better advice.

As suggested by many friends who did the Spain loop, we flew from Granada to Barcelona. Good decision. We flew Iberia but that is because it was the cheapest. I wouldn't waste a whole day on a train or driving. Barcelona is awesome. Enjoy your trip!

I would switch them. Sevilla to Barcelona is 5.5 hours on the train, city center to center. Time-wise,,that is not much more than flying, by the time you add transport to and from the airport and security check time. If you book ahead you can get tickets for 72 euros on the Web price. And youmdon't have to worry about add on fees or the sizeor weight of your bag with the train.
