Last Night in Venice[INVALID]where to stay without blowing the budget?
To end our Italian second honeymoon, we've got 24 hours in Venice before flying home. We don't want to break the budget or waste time staying in an inconvenient location. Does anyone have any recommendations for a fabulous place to stay? It will be a Thursday night in mid-April. Thanks!

You're looking for cheap but fabulous in Venice? "Magari!" as the Italians say. (It means "If only!") That's going to be hard to pull off. Share your budget in euros and you'll get better suggestions.
Also, you can always use booking.com and venere.com to filter only those places that are available for your dates.
We stayed for two nights at Locanda Casa Querini in Sept. 2011 for about 150 Euros/night. Delightful place. Excellent location--right near St. Mark's Square.
We have stayed at Locanda Orseolo 2 times (our 25th ann. and my parents 50th). Absolutely wonderful! Romantic, near St. Marks, luxurious rooms, delicious breakfast, wonderful staff. It is a splurge but for the last night of your 2nd honeymoon, after all. . .
Start looking now as many hotels only take bookings for a minimum of 2 nights.
