Naked night at the museum, anyone?

Europe is different.

To cut the inevitable off at the pass: No, I'm not planning on attending.

Ha-too late.

It would be a great way to see if real men like art...

Yes, Austria is different than here or at least Vienna. There is an island in the Danube River with nudist beaches. I saw families with kids there and for them it's completely normal like here it would be in swimming suits. I saw two families meeting being introduced to each other completely naked (funny for me but obviously not for them).

Thanks, Ilja, for the easy link. My new years resolution is to learn how to do that.

You are absolutely right about Donau Insel. It is near my office and it is a ritual of spring that someone will announce that spring has truly arrived because secretaries (not from our office!) have started to topless sun bathe on the island during their lunch hours. It's not confined to the island either. But, as you point out, what is really interesting is how nonchalant the attitude is. I've got a million funny stories about surprising encounters. But mostly it is one of those areas where cultural differences really stand out.

Thomas,
I am almost illiterate with computers. But Rick makes it so easy for us. Click on Travelers Helpline. Then under Tips and Tricks there is Format your Posts. Click on it and it explains very clearly how to make that trick. Otherwise I don't even know how to copy and paste.

How cool!

I think I can make it by the 4th of March. Not too long a drive.
I think I will just put a towel on the car seat and drive "au natural" too ;)
Just my Queens Park Ranger's jersey, (Joey Barton's), and football cleats.
Will the heat be on in the museum? I hope so. The cold, you know....

It's interesting to imagine what all the 'usual suspect posters' look like (except Jo, who I have met) but now I am supposed to imagine them naked:))

@James...When I am not rolling my eyes at some of your responses, I am laughing at the others... but they always invoke a response of some sort. Maybe we went to a Turkish Bath :)) NOT
