Looking for budget hotels/pensionnes($)in Krakow & Zakopane. Prefer quiet places, not located on busy streets or main squares. Traveling solo; end of May, beginning of June this year.

No quite sure exactly what you want and what your range is, but in Krakow you could try "The Piano Guest House", it's a 6 minute walk north from the train station.

Thanks Larry...I'll look it up. I stayed in a small hostel in Kazimierez a few years ago; lovely area. Looking to spend 20-25 USD; single room, en suite. Someplace quiet is important. Have you traveled east of Krakow or to Zakopane?
