Summer Europe train timetable changeover
I'm almost sure but I'll ask anyway. Does the summer European train table take effect June 9/10? The Thos Cook website suggests it does but I'll be starting my trip June 12 and I want to be sure.

You don't say where you're going on the trains.
I've found train schedules to often change due to supply and demand, especially in Italy.
With so many trains available, the train schedule is not something you have to look very far ahead on.
Depending on the country and destinations, there is often very little change in the schedules. You can do some planning now based upon the existing schedules and get a good idea of prices, connections, etc. If it were our trip, say around France or England, I would book at 90 days prior to travel to get the steeply discounted fares, which are usually nonrefundable and not changeable. So far, we've not had any foul ups doing it 90 days in advance. The Eurostar allows bookings 120 days in advance of travel at deep discounts. I'm not familiar with eastern European trains or their schedule changes.
The 90 day time when train tickets go on sale is frequently reduced in the run-up to timetable changes. You may not be able to buy tickets 90 days in advance, but don't worry as nobody else will. Some of the rail companies will offer to send you an email alert when the tickets go on sale if you try to book before they're available.
