Ljubljana, Bled, Split
In May I am planning on flying from Vienna to Ljubljana then bus or shuttle to Bled to stay for a couple of nights. I was thinking of catching an overnight train to Split, but it looks like it would leave from Ljubljana?
My question is would I be better staying in Ljubljana and just doing a day trip to Bled? Whats the nicer place to stay -Ljubljana or Bled?
Any other suggestions would be gratefully accepted. Thanks

Hi Julie!
You would probably need a train from Ljubljana to Zagreb and then another onto Split.
If you only have 2 days then we guess you would have to spend a day in each, or like you said, spend 2 days in Ljubljana and take a day tour.
Lake Bled is so beautiful but people also fall in love with Ljubljana as well so you should have a nice time in both places.
