Book recommendation list

Hello,

Awhile back I came across a book recommendation list in one of Rick Steves' books (I wish I could remember which one!). It was a list of suggested readings to get ready for Europe--not guidebooks. I can't find the list in my copy of Europe Through the Backdoor, and I'm really interested in locating this list as my oldest (16) is interested in reading some materials before we go in May (me too!). I told him I have a list, but now I can't find it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Any book ideas? I would really appreciate your help!

Thanks,
Becky

Becky... there have been lots of suggestions in the past of books, movies and music 'to get in the mood.' Which countries are you going to be visiting?
There is an incredible group of people here with a ton of knowledge...list your destinations and you will have lots of recommendations.

Becky,
There are some reading recommendations under "PLAN YOUR TRIP" on the Rick Steves' Home page. You just search whatever country. Hope his helps.

Thank you!!! I should have searched "Recommended reading" instead of "Recommended books." That's exactly what I was looking for. We are going to Paris, Italy, and Switzerland. This is perfect.

Thanks!
