travel between genoa train station and the genoa airport

What is the best way to get to get there?Train, bus?(I know they both go there.) I`m coming from Monterosso ( Cinque Terra) by train.From what I can gather, it`s not very far. Recommendations, advice? Many thanks

We've been to Genoa 2x and both times just took a taxi from our hotel (not far from the train station) to the airport. No hassle, and we were on our way home and just wanted to get to the airport with a minimum of worry. It wasn't that expensive and in our minds worth it to go straight to the airport with time to spare.

In 2010, I took a shuttle bus from the airport to the train station on my way to Cinque Terre. It gave me a short tour of the city and was an efficient way to get around.
