Kusadasi to Ephesus

While on a cruise this spring we will be stopping at Kusadasi. We don't particularly want to take the ship's tour and we would like to know our options for independent travel to Ephesus.

I was there few years ago and there were many shuttles, taxi, etc. They are waiting for cruise ships.

Hi Richard,

You may want to check this site: http://www.ephesusshuttle.com/Shuttle-Services/Kusadasi-to-Ephesus/4

There are several shuttle services from Kusadasi to Ephesus or you can hire a taxi driver for the day. Try visiting the web site Turkey Travel Planner - there is a wealth of information there.

You will love Ephesus!

Just got back from a vacation in Turkey with my sisters. We spent most of our time in Istanbul, but had heard that Ephesus was something that we must see. We flew into Izmir and had a tour guide pick us up from our hotel in Izmir, drive us to Ephesus and provide an amazing tour that she customized to our interests. The price for 4 of us to have a private tour was the same as a rental car would have been. We used Ephesus Tours (http://www.ephesustours.com/), Tijan was wonderful.

She is able to pick up from either Izmir port or Kusadosi.
