That link didn't work for me, but try searching on Cheap Flights at YouTube. I assume Monte is going for the cheap flights at 50p. Funny....
I've had more cheap seats than you can imagine.
I could not open the link, either.
My definition of "cheap seats," at least as it appies to aircraft, is: The center of a five-person row in the middle aisle in coach, between fratboy drunks on one side and, on the other, an exhausted, frantic mother holding a crying baby that has a dirty diaper while trying to keep her overactive toddler in the other seat from climbing down and running up and down the aisle. In other words, the seats you get if you buy your tickets at the last minute. To quote Seinfeld: Not that there's anything wrong with that.
I'm not sure what's wrong. My search was for "youtube cheap seats, Ireland". That it won't work takes the fun out of it.
I bought a roundtrip ticket on Aerlingus in 1999. On my return flight I had the worst seat on the plane. It was in the last row at the window, a bulkhead seat. There was no way to lean the seat back. The honeymooners in the seat just in front of us pushed their seats to the full back position and proceded to sleep for hours. Their heads were in the laps of those of us in our bulkhead seats.
We decided to let them sleep and then politely asked them to tilt their seats forward as their heads were in our laps. They grudgingly complied for a few minutes, then tipped their seats back again. We asked the flight attendant to intervene, but she declined to get involved.
I don't remember if the seats were "cheap," but they were bought fairly last-minute and through a travel agent.
This experience soured me on Aerlingus and that travel agent.
