I suggest a drive through the Camargue to Aigues Mortes and Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.

I agree with Tex...we drove from St. Remy through the Camargue to St. Marie de la Mer... had a wonderful seafood lunch and many great views as we "ambled" in each direction...love the white horses and Flamingoes with colorful insignia...

We did a day trip from the St. Remy area to Cassis! The boat tour of the Calanques, the Friday market(there is also one on Wednesdays), and lunch there made it a fun day!

You can also do great drives up the hill towns from St. Remy. Its' a great location. I really enjoyed staying there. I wish had had more time.
