The Pound at Stow in the Wold
Hello,
Has anyone stayed at The Pound in Stow in the Wold? Are there pictures somewhere we can look at? I can't find any pictures online of The Pound and they don't have a website. Do you recommend it?

Look for The Pound in Stow "on" the Wold. I found their website and picture of their door.
Thanks for the correction. They don't have a website--I e-mailed the innkeeper and she said she doesn't have a website yet. She didn't have pictures to show me, either. It sounds so charming, but I hesitate making reservations when I don't know what it looks like.

You could also consider The Old Stocks Hotel in Stow. It's a "classic Rick Steves" property with creaky floors and low beams, but very comfortable. They offer some parking in the rear of the hotel.
There's also a Hostel next door to that if you want more "budget" accommodations.

Where did you get the name? It is on tripadvisor.com, with only 4 reviews and the picture of the front door. Apparently it is quite new not particularly frequented.
