Stephen McPhilemy leads our Ireland tours each year, and he also happens to own his own tour company. In 1997, his business won the UK Young Business of the Year award, and he now owns a youth hostel in Derry. Not bad for a guy who just turned 27.

I wanted to share this photo with you. I was given a merit award in the recent Government 'Irish Welcome Awards.' The award was created by the Minister for Tourism John O'Donoghue in Dingle and is to mark my special contribution to the Irish Tourism Industry.
The certificate/award cites me as 'Stephen McPhilemy, Europe Through The Back Door', so I was nominated by Europe Through the Back Door Tour members which is a big honour.
