Hi from Rick: Our 2006 Seats are Filling Fast
|"Yes, this is really happening!" The thrill of seeing the Swiss Alps for the first time.|
I've just enjoyed my best St. Patrick's Day ever...as the Grand Marshal of Seattle's annual parade (should I have told them I was Norwegian?). During the happy festivities, two things kept coming to mind: first, the lively impact that such a tiny country can have on our world; and second, how hometown cultural celebrations like this give us a tantalizing taste of what it's like to travel to the source.
That's where we come in. Whether you're looking forward to discovering Europe in the off-season (with none of the crowds) or as a summer family expedition (full of sunshine and lifetime memories), we know you'll come home with a deeper enthusiasm for the richness of Europe's many thriving cultures.
Our seats for 2006 are filling fast — especially for select "$300 off" summer and off-season departures. To learn what's hot in our bouillabaisse of travel thrills, check out this month's Tour News, which includes the winning entries for this year's hotly-contested online tour scrapbook contest.
Whether yodeling from the scalps of the Alps, slurping up escargot in a Burgundian village, or marveling at prehistoric forts on Ireland's windy west edge of Europe (where they say "the next parish over is Boston"), if you're dreaming up some travel fun in the coming year, we'd love to give you that pinch that tells you...this is really happening.
