Magnifique: Raves About Rick's Paris Guides
Take a tour from any company, and you can count on your guide to be well-versed in art and history, and to run a tight ship. Rick Steves, however, expects much more from his travel teachers. Good...isn't good enough. Here are a few impressions from our Best of Paris tour alums...

Arnaud Servignat was a gem and primarily responsible for the outstanding success of our tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced and had the most intriguing sense of humor. A true delight — I can't imagine a finer tour guide than Arnaud. He's the best, and you can tell him I said so! |

Toni Clark was terrific. She treated us as new friends that she was escorting, and her explanations of things like the Paris Metro and the bus system were terrific. She had a great sense of humor, and her energy level was always high (higher than mine some days). I enjoyed seeing the Rodin Museum with her and a few people from our tour. I would take another one of her tours anytime. |

Patrick Vidal was energetic, entertaining, and being French, helped us learn about the culture and how to behave respectfully in his country, and in turn, we saw the best of the people and city we had come to visit and try to 'blend in'. Because of his tips we had many special encounters with local people that will always be part of our 'photo memories'. |

Kristen Kusnic Michel was a joy. Her grasp of the language and her love of the French people were great advantages. She helped to make visiting Paris a positive personal experience. She is an open and accessible person and very well suited for her work. She obviously likes introducing people to the joys of France and is good at it. |
