Hi Rick,
I have an amusing little story to relay to you. My family and I just returned from a European vacation. We would never travel anywhere without Rick Steves. Well, he certainly came in handy this time...
We were on our way to Dachau on a side trip when my oldest daughter had a horrible abdominal attack, needing to go to the bathroom immediately. When we finally were able to hop off the train, we were unable to find a bathroom anywhere. In desperate need, my very modest daughter had to find a tree stump and let it go. When inquiring how she was going to clean herself up, I handed her some leaves. When that didn't do the trick, I tore out pages from "Rick Steves' Germany & Austria" (starting from the back, of course) and saved the day.
We have never been so appreciative to have Rick Steves with us. Thank you so much for such a multi-use book!
