Family Europe's Magic Moments
Sharing a European adventure with your kids or grandkids can be the trip of a lifetime — for all of you! Here are a few "wow" moments from families who have recently taken our Family Europe in 14 Days tour.
Walking through the ancient doorway into Paris' Ste. Chapelle without really knowing what to expect. The light and colors took my breath away! I also loved seeing the look on my daughter's face as she experienced Europe, wandering back streets, eating unfamiliar foods and trying out new language skills. It was truly Europe "through the back door" and off the beaten tourist path. I'll always smile when thinking of the fun the two of us had on this trip.

Walking though the woods in Austria and crossing into Germany suddenly emerging from the woods on a lake across from fairy tale castles. We were the only people there, it was enchanting!

One was the playground outside King Ludwig's castle. Our whole tour — everyone from the 8-year-old to the grandmother and both guides — just played together. What a wonderful bonding experience.

The "wow" moment was the evening we spent in Burgundy at a renovated farmhouse. We had dinner on the lawn and there was a local band. I danced with my husband and my kids. My husband and I agreed that even with the most detailed planning on our own, we couldn't have planned that moment. It was truly magical.

There were several WOW moments but watching a cow give birth to twins while hiking in Switzerland was pretty amazing for the whole family.

We were told the Eiffel Tower "sparkled" at 10 PM. We peeked out our hotel room window at precisely 10 PM and all we could say was "WOW!!!" That was a very magical moment!

I think the most incredible memory from this trip was the last supper that we all had together. It was so amazing that in just two weeks, eight families could come together so well, that it felt like, when we were saying our goodbyes, that we were going away from family, not strangers. The memory of this unbelievable experience leaves my mind in awe. It was just such an amazing opportunity.
