Rick's NEW Video Box Sets
With our seventh season of "Rick Steves' Europe" all wrapped up for public television, we've been eager to expand our best-selling "All 90 Shows DVD Box Set" to include our newest and best shows. And now, with 70 shows and specials filmed in high-definition, it's time to take advantage of the vivid beauty of Blu-ray, too.
Our video of the month is a 90-second preview of our just-arrived Rick Steves' Europe: All 100 Shows 2000-2014 DVD Box Set. The exciting things that differentiate "All 100" from "All 90" are the nine new, widescreen shows that replace their outdated predecessors on Rome, Venice, Florence, London, a fresh trio of Travel Skills Special shows for the 21st century, the addition of a new Symphonic Journey special — and (as a box set-only bonus extra) an hour from Rick's first-ever TV show, filmed way back in 1989. New Blu-Ray: In April we'll have our classy new Rick Steves' Europe: All Blu-ray Collectors' Edition Box Set. This 12-disc set includes all 70 of the TV shows and specials we've shot in hi-def. If you have a Blu-ray player, this is the way to go. Travel has never, ever looked this good.
New Singles: If you're not ready to buy the entire collection, we've made our "singles" a better value than ever. Arriving in April, each title will include two discs — a DVD and a Blu-ray — for the same price as one DVD before. This way, no matter what kind of player you use now (or plan to use in the future), it will play the shows!
