The Let's Go guides give good instructions on getting to and from European campgrounds. Eurocampings has details and user reviews on more than 8,000 campgrounds. Once in Europe, campings (campgrounds) are well signed, and local tourist information offices have guides and maps listing spots nearby.

- Camping Europe (Carol Mickelsen, 2008). Tips for car camping, bringing your bike from home, and driving directions to major destinations. Includes Scandinavia, Central, and Eastern Europe.
- RV and Car Camping Vacations in Europe (Mike and Terri Church, 2004). Two-week itineraries, campground listings, and advice for both RV and tent campers.
