We are excited that your station is planning to run the new Rick Steves' Vive la France Pledge Special. Thanks! To help you promote this event and make it a success, we are offering these free resources:

Offer related travel information on your website.
We have dedicated a special area on our website for the France Pledge Special which you can link directly from your site. You will attract more visitors (and supporters) to your station's website by offering them complete scripts from the shows, my dispatches from Europe, the latest on travel to these destinations, and an informative behind-the-camera peek at the production of each show. You are also welcome to copy content from this area for use on your site. -
Announce your pledge event to Rick Steves' customers in your area.
We have a national database of 200,000 travelers who've enjoyed our TV series and guidebooks. We can send tailored email messages to our customers in your viewing area to announce the program. Just let us know the zip code range for your viewing area, details about your pledge event (date, time, etc.), and we'll do the rest! -
Promote the event in your viewer guide and local media.
I recently wrote the enclosed article to help promote this new pledge special. Feel free to tailor the article to fit the format of your viewer guide or website. We also have photographs to accompany the article available for download. The enclosed press release may be helpful to publicize the event to travel editors and entertainment and television guides in your area. The text for both the article and the press release, as well as the photos, can be emailed to you by request.
I have enjoyed producing virtual pledge specials with OPB at the rate of two per year and hope to continue bringing successful pledge specials to APT stations at no charge. We hope they continue to be successful fundraisers for your station.
