How We Make a Difference
Because Rick Steves' Europe is privately held (Rick owns it), rather than distribute our excess profit to shareholders, we can use it to empower organizations that work for the common good in our community.
We donate to a wide array of organizations directly and through our nonprofit community partners. Learn how you can be involved with ─ or benefit from ─ our giving programs.

Grants for Snohomish County Nonprofits
Under the guidance of the Community Foundation of Snohomish County, the Rick Steves' Europe Employee Grant Making Committee reviews requests and provides cash grants to a variety of nonprofit organizations in and around our Edmonds, WA home. The committee focuses on grant requests supporting diversity, equity and inclusion, senior wellness, and nonprofit training.
