A few copies of the fifth edition of this book, originally printed in January 2009, were shipped with a printer defect (page 287 appears in place of page 231). Prague

The long off-limits interior of the Communists' Parliament building — later home to Radio Free Europe — can now be viewed with a guided tour that takes you step by step through this fascinating stage of recent Czech (and journalistic) history (80 Kc, daily 10:00–18:00, tours in Czech leave on the hour on weekdays, every half-hour on weekends, English audioguide provided, tel. 224-497-430, www.nm.cz).

Sleeping in Prague
