Sleeping in Edmonds

The first two accommodations listed below are within walking distance of the Travel Center and convenient if you do not have a car (see our map for locations). The third is nestled in a residential area just north of downtown Edmonds, and the rest line busy Highway 99 or beyond. Credit cards are accepted unless otherwise noted.

Edmonds Harbor Inn — Central Edmonds' only full-service hotel is fairly standard, but offers some nice extras. All rooms include breakfast, television, coffee maker and down pillows; pricier rooms come with more amenities. Rooms begin at $109 and go up to $189 for suites with a fireplace and Jacuzzi. 130 W. Dayton House B &B — The owners of this typical Edmonds house rent a private apartment with a second-floor view deck for $95. 522 Dayton St., 425/778-3611.

Maple Tree B &BThe kind owners of this charming 1923 home rent rooms for $90 a night; manicured grounds and beautiful sunsets included. 18313 Olympic View Dr., 425/774-8420.

Travelers Inn and Suites — Rooms often go for just $50 a night; some include kitchenettes. 22127 Highway 99, 425/776-0200.

K & E Motor Inn — The basic-but-clean rooms here start at just $45. 23921 Highway 99, 425/778-2181.

Rodeo Inn — The rooms are pretty standard, but we hear the staff is friendly; rooms for $50–$70 a night. 20707 Highway 99, 425/ 774-7700.

Travelodge Rooms here are furnished with above-average taste, rates are reasonable (starting at $70)... and there's a hot tub! 23825 Highway 99, 425/771-8008.

Comfort Inn — Rooms have all the usual amenities, plus free Wi-Fi.  Doubles go for around $100. A bit farther from Edmonds, but near I-5 at 4117 196th St. SW, Lynnwood, 425/775-8030, 800/465-4329.

Waterfront Weekly Rental — For an extended stay in Edmonds (just 30 minutes from Seattle!), consider this weekly rental two blocks north of the ferry terminal. One bedroom with full living room and a small dining area and kitchen. $750/week, 206/595-6699.
