Best ways to improve this book:Re railpass use: We discovered accidently that in Germany & Switzerland the posted train diagram and in some cases also the platform display indicates which sector (A,B, ..) you should wait on to easily board your car. First class cars can be on the front, middle, or end of the train. This is much easier than hauling your luggage through a moving train! Free boat trips with a railpass may also have first class seating, which we discovered accidently. In this manner, when one visits a museum mentioned in the book, one will be able to easily locate, view and read about each work of art on the list for such museum. Paul Goldberg in Palmetto Bay, FL USA 06/22/2007 The new edition is a darn good refresher about European history and art. It's even good if you never learned about those things in the first place!
