Travel buddies for europe fall 2012
Hi!
I am a 19 year old female and I am planning a 2-3 month European backpacking adventure! I want to leave by mid September at the latest, and staying as long as I can afford to (2 or 3 months probably)I have a general itinerary made up, but I don't want anything to be set in stone for I want to be as flexible as possible. I plan to start in England and make my way across to Belgium and Amsterdam and through Germany and such. I want to go down to Croatia and Greece, then across and up through Italy, through France, Ireland and then leave from Scotland. I am going to be staying in hostels and living as cheaply as I can get away with. I want to see historic buildings and sights but I also want to go see some small towns too. I will definitely be drinking and partying a lot but I wont waste my whole trip doing so. If anybody is interested in even meeting up for a bit of my trip that would be great, I want to meet as many new people as possible:)

European Road Trip Feb 2012 - one space left

I'm a 23 year old guy embarking on a road trip around Europe from mid-Feb for 2 months.
As a quick intro I have a 7 seater car of which I've ripped out some of the seats to make room for bedding and cupboards, so hopefully it should be quite cheap as we won't have to pay for accommodation much.
I'm very adventurous and into all my outdoor sports like climbing, hiking and kayaking but quite happy to spend time doing more relaxed things as well!
There is currently no set schedule as I want to discuss it with whoever is coming with me to make sure everyone is happy.

"backpack" through Europe in Oct 2012
Would you like a kick ass person to party In Europe with, well that's me, and I'm looking for you! Im 21 from sunny Sarasota, Florida and I'm looking to "backpack" through Europe in probably October for at least 3 weeks to a month. Backpacking Europe in April!
Planning on traveling through central Europe from April 1-23 and would love a travel buddy! I am trying to recruit some friends to join me but currently nothing is set in stone, and certainly the more the merrier (not to mention cheaper!). My tentative route is Prague >> Rothenburg odT >> Munich >> Salzburg >> Innsbruck >> Venice >> Cinque Terre >> Florence >> Rome. There is also the potential to take the ferry from Bari to Dubrovnik, Croatia as I have a potential lodging accommodation there, just not sure if there will be time. I haven't purchased tickets yet so I can probably be persuaded to change plans a bit, the only things that aren't really flexible are my dates (start date has wiggle room by a day or 2 but end date no). I am still not convinced if buying the Eurail pass is the best option, but I'm mainly planning on traveling by train/bus and planning on staying in hostels, couch surfing using airbnb.com. About me, I am a 26 yr old female who is easy to get a long with, outgoing, and up for adventure! Spring holiday march 30-April 16

Traveling.. Places across the pond
I'm 19 and there are different sections to my trip that someone could join me on...
Tour of Italy for 2-3 weeks starting around the weekend of the 11th of Feb to go and see museums and sightsee.
After that... end of Feb to the 17th? of March, I'm going to be in the UK wandering around (I'd like to be in Ireland for St. Patrick's Day). Afterwards I'm going to Spain to wwoof on a farm for a month.
Then I'm going to spend the rest of my 90 day stay exploring Germany, France, Netherlands, etc. via backpacking around. This will be from March 22?- to the end of May?
And finally I'm going to the UK again to spend the rest of my time waiting to go home... I don't have a return ticket though.

Looking For A Backpacking Buddy April-June 2012
I am going to Europe from the end of April through the middle of June. I plan on starting in Amsterdam for the Queens Day Festival and then ending in Ibiza. I plan on seeing a lot of sites but also experiencing life in each country and going out at night. I'm looking for someone who wants to do a little of both. I'm big into EDM (Electronic Dance Music), which is huge in Europe, and would love to sample some of the big clubs. The places on my itinerary right now include:

Backpacking partner wanted for camp-hitchhike stlye adventures across europe with no agenda or return date
Hi my names Carl im a 31yr old guy from the United Kingdom, looking for either male or a female travel partner to see the sights and live the dream of going where you want and taking your time to rush for nobody but yourself.
I want to spend as much time as possible out of england so I am looking for someone with no real return dates or certainly to do a long haul mainly by foot/hitchhike and to locate as much as possible areas safe to pitch a tent or even to build a camp from natural resources but bottom line is to do it for as cheaply as possible so that it lasts as long as possible mixing and meeting new cultures and maybe from time to time offering free labour in exhchange for land to sleep on or to trade for a local hot meal, dont get me wrong im not a hippy or a cheapskate but I just want to live the Indian Jones lifestyle as much as possible. Istanbul by Train from Budapest April 2012
Train freak here, dying to do the Istanbul trip the man in seat 61 describes. I'd start from somewhere in/near Germany, and do it thru Budapest and Bucharest each way, with sleepers on overnight trains and a hotel layover in Istanbul and back in Bucharest and possibly also Budapest on one end or the other.
All this would be next April 2012 when I fulfill a lifelong dream to use a one-month Eurailpass to see as much of Europe as I can from a train window before I die!
I'm in my 60s, an experienced traveler (but not to this part of the world) and would love to have someone to go along so we could sorta look out for each other and so forth.

Cycle across Europe summer 2012
My name is Brad, 25yo structural engineer from Queensland Australia. Im on leave and currently on a world trip (now in Ecuador).
Im planning to cycle from Dublin early June 2012, and end in Greece (probably Oct).

April 2012 Unplanned Train Trip
I'm gonna try one last time to fulfill a lifelong dream by buying a one-month Eurailpass and use it next April to see some parts of Europe that have been on my life list all my life, such as Bach and Luther sites in Germany, mountain scenery from train windows, etc. I'm in my 60s. This is probably the last chance I'll have to do this. I love opera and classical music, and I will always be on the lookout for concerts along the way. I'll start in Leipzig in early April, to hear Bach's St. Matthew Passion. After that, who knows. As far as where I'll go, I may just pick out the day's trip each morning while standing on platforms looking at departure boards. I have this foolish idea I'll be able to recapture my youth by staying in hostels and sleeping on trains along the way, but in the end I'll probably revert to something more stable like economical B&Bs or pensions if I can afford it! I wonder if anyone else has the same sort of dreams. If anyone else, any age, any gender, also has a desire for that sort of mostly-unplanned bopping around Europe from as far and wide as maybe Budapest up to Flam in Norway, and then southern France by the end of April, let me know. Backpacking Europe, May-August 2012, Looking for companions
Hey everyone! I'm a 22 year old graduating in May, backpacking in Europe from May to August in 2012. I'm outdoorsy and love hiking, biking, swimming, snowboarding, basketball, etc. I'm always up for trying new things, and that's the whole purpose of this trip :) I'm seeking like-minded travelers who are open to trying new things as well. I will be in Rome May 28th and flying back to the US from Shannon, Ireland on July 18th, 2012.

Hello, my name is Alberto Asman, I am nearly 70 (but look younger and I'm ready to walk all the museums). I am from Argentina and live in Buenos Aires.
I had plans for Europe with a friend but she had a problem and is not able to come with me.
I have an Air France ticket departingon January 21st from BA to Rome. I have a reservation for a hotel there and my idea (totally flexible) is to spend a few days there and then to go by rented car slowly and through the secondary roads to Venice, where I also have a reservation.
My ticket departs from Rome to Paris on February 4, and back to BA on the 9, spending 5 days in Paris.

2012 Summer Europe Travel

I am a 30yr old writer from India planning a two-month whirlwind trip across Europe in March-April 2012 (flexible). Would like to do it on a shoestring with a like-minded female companion for safety. My places of interest (for one-week visits) are France, Spain, Italy and Greece and (for shorter trips) Belgium, Czech Rep., Denmark, Norway and Germany.
I can rise early and sleep late if travel plans demand it. I'm mostly interested in the museum, palaces, general city culture and whatever creative activities you can think of. I'm not too much of a party person, but definitely not a bore.

June - July 2012 European Whirlwind Tour
Hi All!
Starting to plan my trip to Europe for June/July 2012. In the initial stages and hoping for some advice and possible travel partners. I am hoping to start in Amsterdam and get to: Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Spain and France. Total trip will be approx. 1 month. I understand this is a little ways away, but I want to be prepared.

Travel partners wanted for USA and Europe 2012
Kiwi ,( New Zealander) 40 yr Male Looking for travel partners Male/Female to share road costs for a trip of a lifetime. Plan at this stage is to purchase a American Kombi in California (which i will pay for ) and travel up the West coast of US into Canada then cruise across to the East coast of Canada finishing up in New York. Time frame aprox 2-3 months. From there i will be exporting Kombi to the UK and looking at traveling UK-Europe for up to 6 months. Returning back to Uk , where i will be sending the Kombi back to New Zealand and returning home. I have traveled Europe before and this time realy want to get into it in more depth. Looking for companions who have humour, honesty. Will be doing a mix of Camping grounds and Cheap hotels , ect so you must have sufficent funds for fuel, food accomidation ect and. Hello. I'm planning a trip for my cousin and I for Europe in May 2012. She has never been before and I want to get a good amount of traveling in. We are planning on going to France, Germany, Czech, Italy, and Switzerland, mainly. I'm not really big on group travel (I always travel alone), but meeting up here and there would be pretty cool.
