Perfect travel day: A morning jaunt through Rynek Glowny, Kraków's main square, to grab a local obwarzanki bagel and wander through the area as kids chase pigeons and artists display their wares. Later, a delicious lunch at Restauracja Padre is followed by a walk through a new, undiscovered part of the city and an evening hike to Kościuszko Mound to take in a beautiful sunset. If energy remains, a trip to Pijalnia Wódki I Piwa for a few vodka shots with friends rounds out an eventful day.

Perfect travel day: My perfect travel day begins and ends in York, England. I start with a Fat Rascal scone at Betty's Tea Shop then walk it off by pacing the city's medieval walls. If it's spring, the hills along the walls will be lit with daffodils. In the afternoon, I drive to Fountains Abbey and clamber on the ruins of the white-washed Cistercian monastery. I'll then walk along the River Skell, lay out a picnic lunch on the manicured lawns of the Royal Water Garden, and read the afternoon away. In the evening, I'll return to York for an evensong service at the York Minster cathedral then walk a couple minutes down the road to enjoy a pint of the Centurion's Ghost Ale at the Three-Legged Mare.
Favorite travel product: Red Maps — As much as I love getting lost in a new city, I also enjoy eventually finding my way again! Red Maps are water-proof, tear-proof city maps that are detailed enough for even the most directionally challenged travelers.

Perfect travel day: My perfect day involves sleeping in and going to the local bakery, a walking tour, picking up a picnic lunch at Harrods or Mark & Spencers, shopping at H&M, getting a spa treatment, dinner out without kids, and ending the day at the theater going to a musical.
Favorite travel product: Hide-Away Tote (It holds so much and keeps my H&M purchases safe — I wouldn't travel without it)
Her travels in Europe include: Iceland, Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Spain, Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic. She has also been to Canada and Mexico.
Perfect travel day: Heading to the French countryside after spending a couple of days in Paris. Here time is spent with friends playing cards, cooking dinners, and enjoying the evening sun. While watching the fire die down we can discuss what we saw in the Louvre or the delicious jambon fromage crêpe we munched on in the Quartier Latin. If someone pulls out a guitar, all the better!

Perfect travel day: My perfect travel day starts waking up on a sailboat off the coast of Croatia surrounded by close friends. While sailing to the next island, I relax reading a book and listening to the sound of surfacing dolphins as waves softly crash against the boat. We stop in one of Croatia's many picturesque coves for a salty swim, and then enjoy a delicious picnic-style lunch with meats, cheeses, breads, and olive oil. Once docked, we ride rented motorbikes to the secluded beaches on the other side of the island. The night ends at a family-owned restaurant watching a breathtaking Croatian sunset spread across the sky, as we enjoy the local wine and a classic Croatian feast.

Perfect travel day: For me, that would include one or more of the following: Italian coffee, freshly made crêpes, a walking tour with a good local guide, hiking in the French, Swiss, or Italian Alps (or a hike + swim at the calanques of Cassis), an aperitif at an outdoor café, chatting with locals over dinner at a restaurant with long communal tables, and an evening bike ride along the Seine.

Perfect travel day: Exploring the caves, cafés, and bougainvillea-lined backstreets of Crete, followed by an al fresco feast of Greek salad, olives, fava beans, dolmades, and stuffed peppers at a cliffside restaurant overlooking Rethymno's Fortezza — sun setting over the Mediterranean Sea as dramatic backdrop.
