Lisa lost her husband on a vaporetto ride in Venice (they found each other, but not before tears were shed). Gabe spent a bleary four out of five nights on trains, ping-ponging between Nice, Paris, Barcelona, Paris (again!), and Venice. Emily showed up to the Colosseum without an advance booking and fell victim to resellers hawking heavily marked-up tickets. And Ben narrowly escaped St. Petersburg when Russia invaded Ukraine. Along the way, we hear frightening travel tales from other RSE staffers and our travelers. Boo!
