Itinerary

Daily Activity Key
  • Light = 2–4 miles of mostly level walking throughout the day.
  • Moderate = 2–6 miles walking throughout the day with some hills and stairs.
  • Strenuous = 2–8 miles walking throughout the day with lots of hills, stairs, and uneven terrain.

Day 1: Welcome to London

We'll meet at our hotel in central London at 3 p.m. this afternoon to get acquainted. Then we'll set off on a neighborhood walk, before stepping aboard our very own vintage double-decker bus for a panoramic tour of "The Old Smoke" (London). We'll finish the evening with a "Welcome to London" dinner together. Sleep in London (6 nights). Walking: moderate.

Day 2: Westminster and Whitehall

After an Underground/Tube orientation, we'll wander through the City of Westminster. Our walk will take us past Buckingham Palace — punctuated by the smartly dressed, stony-faced Queen's Guard — and through St. James Park, a favorite for its resident pelicans, on our way to the majestic Westminster Abbey. We'll enjoy a guided tour of the abbey, where England's kings and queens have been crowned and buried since 1066, and continue with a history-laced walking tour along Whitehall. After lunch, we'll visit the Churchill War Rooms, where we'll get the inside story on the London Blitz and Britain's leadership during World War II. Walking: strenuous.

Day 3: The Tower and The City

This morning we'll head out early to witness the opening ceremony at the medieval Tower of London. Our early arrival will leave us first in line to join a Yeoman Warder "Beefeater" for an entertaining tour and a close-up look at the UK's magnificent collection of Crown Jewels. This afternoon, we'll take a walking tour of The City, the oldest part of London and today one of the world's key financial centers. Then we'll rest our feet and enjoy that quintessentially English experience: afternoon tea, before we explore the treasure-packed British Museum. This evening is free and perfect for the theater (book a popular show in advance online or pick up a ticket in London). Walking: strenuous.

Day 4: Historic Windsor Castle

Today we'll catch a train and head out of town to Windsor Castle, the largest and oldest castle residence in the world. We'll spend the morning touring the Royal Family's castle, ornate St. George's Chapel, and the surrounding park. The remainder of the day is yours for poking around the quaint town of Windsor or for more sightseeing back in London. Tonight, join your guide and fellow tour members for a pint at a local pub and share the stories of your day's experience. This is another good night for the theater. Train: 2 hours. Walking: moderate.

Day 5: East London and St. Paul's

Today we'll venture out to the culturally diverse East End of London, where we'll find our lunch on a food tour. The tour will guide us through the history of the East End, tasting the influence of cultures along the way — from a traditional English bacon butty, to Indian curries to the beloved London takeaway, fish and chips. Once we have had our fill, we'll continue on to England's national church — Christopher Wren's majestically domed St. Paul's Cathedral — and hear how local "fire watcher" volunteers saved this symbol of British resolve during the bombing raids of World War II. Your evening is free — consider staying near St. Paul's to hear evensong. Walking: strenuous.

Day 6: Borough Market and the South Bank

We'll begin our morning with a tour of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, the half-timbered and thatched-roofed replica of the original theater that was home to the playwright's productions in the late 1500s. Then we'll take a walking tour along the South Bank of the Thames. We'll see the Tower Bridge and Southwark Cathedral, and learn how this side of the river has evolved since Roman times. We'll end our tour at Borough Market, one of the oldest and largest food markets in London, with colorful produce and the wafting scents of grilled-cheese and duck-confit sandwiches. The afternoon is yours to enjoy lunch at the market, visit the Tate Modern, hop on a Thames River cruise, or take a ride on the London Eye. Tonight we'll meet for our "last supper" and raise a toast to London and new friends. Cheers! Walking: moderate.

Day 7: Tour Over After Breakfast

Breakfast is provided, but there are no group activities today. Heathrow and Gatwick airports can be easily reached by Tube, train, or taxi from our London neighborhood. For those not ready to return home yet, London is a great jumping off point to Paris, Dublin, Amsterdam, and many other exciting destinations. Cheerio!

Itinerary specifics subject to change.

Physical Demands

Our tours are physically active! It's an essential part of the Rick Steves tour experience. On our Best of London in 7 Days tour — among other things — you'll need to happily…

  1. Carry your luggage up several flights of stairs to reach your hotel room.
  2. Be on your feet, walking and standing, for up to three hours, indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions.
  3. Sleep with street noise and no (or weak) air conditioning.
  4. After orientation and transportation lessons, be able to navigate around the city on your own.
  5. Be able to climb many flights of stairs in and out of the London Underground system.

The London tour had an excellent mix of structure with free time with each of the areas. My favorite activities were: the bus tour, changing of the guard, Tower of London, St. Paul's, Windsor Castle, Globe theatre and Borough Market. It's amazing that we got to see so very many things in a week's time.

Favorite "WOW" moment

"St Paul's was incredibly beautiful certainly with much detail. In my opinion, it will be the most beautiful church that I ever see. Going for Evensong was spiritual. 12 choir members filled the church with the most beautiful sound that I've ever heard. Following the service, there was an outdoor presentation on the church of those people that watched over the church during the bombings- "Where Light Falls". emotionally inspiring!"

I was expecting to really enjoy this tour, but I absolutely LOVED it! I loved the knowledge of our guide Tom, who could answer any question, give an impromptu history lesson and inject humor throughout our travels. It should be known, that one needs to be in pretty good shape to do this particular tour. We walked 8-12 miles/day including uneven terrain, slopes, hills and countless steps. We saw all of the major sights, and surprisingly had fabulous food throughout London.

Favorite "WOW" moment

"I was completely "wowed" by Windsor Castle, especially the Chapel. The architecture, craftsmanship and history/age of the buildings is just mind-boggling. I also loved our morning Food Tour including the Bacon Sandwich. On one our free afternoons, we took a "Street Art Tour" and that was amazing. I would recommend that as a suggestion for free time. Many on our tour saw our pictures, and said that they would have liked to have done that."

Jammed packed tour! Great overview of everything London has to offer. Itinerary was a bit strenuous, but we really got to see the major sites. Tom was a terrific guide, enjoyed his witty and clever narratives. Hotel was in a perfect location to the underground, restaurants, and many of the major sites. Wonderful group of people on this tour, everyone was punctual and conscientious. Overall a great week!

Favorite "WOW" moment

"The Churchill museum and war rooms, seeing the State rooms Windsor Castle and visiting St. George's Chapel, going back in history to Tower of London, and St. Paul's Cathedral was an unexpected surprise. Visiting the Globe Theater was a nice way to end the week."

I loved the fact that we stayed so close to St. James, Green & Hyde parks. I loved walking through them when we had a little bit of free time.

The tour was action packed and top of the line. I felt that the tour allowed us to see all of the important sites in London and did not feel rushed or overwhelming. I think the group activities balanced well with the time to explore on your own. The tour guide was exceptional and kept the group entertained and on point for the activities. Overall, very impressed and pleased with the tour.

Wonderful experience. The tour closely matched the description. (exactly basically) Very well organized; appropriate activities. Good food and options. By far the best part and the glue that held the tour together was the guide Tom. Extremely knowledgeable, the perfect mix of valued and fun information without too much, kept the group together, on time and aware without nagging - and a fantastic (British) sense of humor. The guide went out of his way to value each member of the group.

Favorite "WOW" moment

"So many "wow" moments, but I especially enjoyed the East End Food Tour. It was a more hands-on, personal experience a little different from touring a church or museum. This tour hit all the highlights of London while still allowing individual time to explore or relax. I would emphasize that this is indeed a strenuous tour with lots of walking, standing and stairs. Those that aren't in decent shape or have "bum knees" will definitely feel it. The thrill of being in London and the distraction of all that history (plus some ibuprofen) helps to manage the aches and pains. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

Favorite "WOW" moment

"I loved the chapel to the American Armed Forces in St. Paul's Cathedral. It serves as an eternal tribute to those who gave their all for the freedom of the U.K., Europe and democracy. Our week in London was filled with memorable experiences thanks in large part to our great tour guide, Roy. The breadth and depth of his knowledge of history brought the sites we visited to life. London was exquisite. I was struck by the graciousness, the polite responses I received from everyone from store personnel, hotel staff and the stranger on the street. The hotel was perfect - centrally located within easy walking distance to public transit and major attractions. Roy was an excellent guide, providing a thorough orientation to the city and expanding on the historical significance of everything we experienced from the British Museum to Brexit.

Favorite "WOW" moment

"We got a glimpse of the Queen leaving Parliament in her gilded carriage on the day she addressed that body. Although we were behind barriers, we could see her profile along with Prince Charles and his wife. This was only because our guide for the Westminster Abbey tour (Brian) offered to take us to the corner where he knew the carriage would pass when we completed our Westminster tour. He went out of his way to give us that opportunity and it was delightful!!"

Visiting the UK has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl, and this experience was everything I hoped for and more. We were so fortunate to have Jeanie as a guide with her extensive knowledge, profound kindness, and delightful wit. One of the best things about London is that you can be in the middle of traffic and busy commuters, turn the corner, and all of a sudden, you're in a quiet churchyard or a serene park. It was my second Rick Steves tour--hopefully of many more to come!

Seven days is just not enough time to fully experience everything London has to offer. However, this tour provides a good overview of some major sights. The tour was as described but I was not prepared for the ACTUAL level of activity (amount, distance, pace). It was fast-paced and pretty exhausting! I was concerned about the hotel, as it did not get great reviews on-line. But, it was a nice place and centrally located for tube travel. Having Shepard's Market across the street was AMAZING, especially when the weather was bad or we were too tired to go too far from the hotel for dinner. The group was a good mix of singles vs couples.

If I had been feeling better I would have rated the tour as outstanding. But my hip and back decided otherwise. However, I made every day but one. Getting left at the tube station by myself when the train's doors shut leaving me with no money, ticket, or I.D. while my husband was stuck on the train was unnerving, However, several very kind citizens helped me find my way. By the way, this happened before the tour started.

Tom's tour of London was fabulous, exceeding all expectations! Tom was knowledgeable, entertaining, fun and patient. He knows his stuff and is a real people person, making us all feel welcome and the week enjoyable. We liked the mix of activities and the opportunities to do things on our own. The farewell dinner on the final night at About Thyme was really very good and we felt like we were parting with old friends. This was our first Rick Steves tour and we'll be back!

We enjoyed another great travel experience due to great weather in London, a witty guide, and a bunch of travel mates who embraced the RS philosophy of adventure & community building. It was our first city tour and it was more strenuous that we anticipated and we're in good shape. It kicked our butt...but we wanted to soaked up all we could, including The riotous Book of Mormon. Luckily we followed it with the Heart of France tour that included extended bus/rest rides!

All in all, it was a very educational trip which I enjoyed in many ways - the historical sites (and the history), the local customs and the food. Even the weather, which was mostly sunny and warm, cooperated except for a brief downpour on my last day. Our guide, Tom, our guide, was excellent and all of us marveled at his mastery of the history of the sites we visited. His (droll? sly?) sense of humor was captivating and had us hanging on to every word he said.

"The east end tour, where we got a close-up look at the neighborhood was great. The waves of immigration that took place over the years and the way the character of the area changed over time makes one want to learn more about London besides the popular tourist areas. The food was so much better than what I remember from my first trip to England thirty years ago. Yes, the English know how to use salt and pepper (and other spices)."

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour which exceeded my expectations for a guided tour. Daily activities were thoughtfully organized to acquaint us with different areas each day. We saw the major sites but didn't feel rushed enjoying them. It was helpful to have the admission process to various sites taken care of by our guide and seemed to save time as well. There was enough free time left in the day to explore each area on our own.

It felt comprehensive in that we experienced a lot of history, locations, culture and local color in a fairly short time. First time trying a full week in one location. Although a hectic schedule, which is to be expected, it was good being in one location to unpack and enjoy that aspect. We had a wonderful time in London. It's a remarkable city and I loved our tour guide's insights to the city. Great visits to local markets that introduced us to a variety of foods and local artisans. Just the right amount of time in the museums. Globe Theater was amazing. Windsor Castle visit was delightful with lunch on the river. Also enjoyed the free time as it allowed us to see a London theater production and a live performance at the Globe Theater.

This trip included so many of the important places in London that I have always wanted to see. Gillian was a terrific guide: knowledgeable, personable, patient, organized and down right delightful! I appreciated touring with the group with Gillian as our guide, as well as the local guides that took us to specific places. We also enjoyed just the right amount of time to explore, go to performances and sometimes just to chill out. Our hotel was wonderful and in such a great location, too.

"There were way too many to pick just one. Overall it was just standing in places where so much of history has taken place--Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, the Tower of London, Churchill's War Room and Museum, the Globe Theatre, Westminster Abbey, and St. Paul's Cathedral. This was our seventh RS tour, but our first city tour. We finished the Paris and Heart of France tour two days earlier. The city tour certainly has a different flavor: one hotel, no bus, shorter tour, less included dinners and happy hours. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed it. The first two days were quite active, perhaps too active. It was very nice to have the Oyster card loaded with 50 pounds. The quality of the bus on the first day of the tour was embarrassing; it rattled so much!

Favorite "WOW" moment

"My favorite WOW moment was not included in the tour. We stood at the exact same spot in front of Buckingham Palace where I had stood 57 years earlier, when I was 10 years old, watching the Changing of the Guard once again. While standing and watching The Merry Wives of Windsor, Falstaff, after drinking from a pint of beer, laughed, and then profusely spit out a mouthful of it upon the audience. After seeing Hitler's bunker at Berchtesgaden, I was shocked at how shallow Churchill's bunker was."

"Our trip to Windsor Castle was the highlight for me. Looking into the main quadrangle toward the Queen's Windsor Residence, we saw Queen Elizabeth II exit and get into the official vehicle as they left for the Royal Ascot Races. This is different from the typical Rick Steves tour in that we never changed hotels. We were in the same room for ten days in London which made for a very homey experience. "My favorite moment was something not on the tour, but recommended as a side excursion - visiting the Houses of Parliament. This was our first small group tour and being able to share and interact with our tour group really made our experience special. Tour guide Jeanie Carmichael made us realize that you can live in London for years but still find something new each day. Finally, the London public transportation system was exceptional--especially the Underground!

WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY LONDON, A CITY WE HAD AVOIDED IN A FEW PAST VISITS TO THE UK - WE WERE INTIMIDATED AND NOT SURE WHAT TO DO OR HOW TO NAVIGATE THE CITY. IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE THE TOUR ORGANIZED, EXPECIALLY FOR AN ACTIVE GROUP OF TOURISTS. LONDON'S JUXTAPOSITION OF HISTORICAL STRUCTURES AND NEW ARCHITECTURE, ALONG WITH THE CITY'S AND COUNTRY'S HISTORY IS INCREDIBLE. THE CITY IS VIBRANT AT NIGHT WITH LOTS TO DO – THEATERS AND CONCERTS. Jeanie's local perspective added a lot of flavor and enjoyment to our tour.We got more than interesting facts about history and what we were seeing, but also her own citizen's POV about life in the U.K., London. This helped us to feel that we were really experiencing the city rather than just passing through as observers. Using alternate tour guides in some of the venues, plus the food tour, kept things fresh and energetic. Being coached in the use of public transportation was a huge help.

London is somewhat unique in that you are on your feet the whole day- no sitting on a bus/shuttle for travel from one site to another. You walked or tubed there. "The radios provided for us all was excellent. We felt part of the group as a family & the narration was awesome. The food tour guide was excellent as very well organized with walking, tasting delicious samples of food, & visiting interesting places with a lovely knowledgable guide. Another gift as research done by Rick Steves which we all could experience. I absolutely loved the amazing interesting history course we took all week being on this tour. This is our third RS tour. This tour was wonderful and everything we hoped for. We saw all the major sights in London and had some unexpected treats. There was a great mix of "tour time" and free time to explore on your own. The hotel, the Washington Mayfair, was excellent. Our tour guide, Roy, knew everything and did an amazing job of herding us cats on the tube, filling us with history, and helping us with our independent explorations. Thanks for a great week, Roy!

"My favorite days were the trip to Windsor Castle, a beautiful little village and the food tour of the East End! We got away from the hustle and crowds of downtown London and the big tourist sights. I also found the Churchill War Rooms fascinating; too much to see in just a couple of hours. So glad that was added to the tour."

We enjoyed our trip very much and the "local" insight Roy offered. We saw most of the must see sights and learned to find our way around London using the Underground which allowed us to stay a bit longer than the tour lasted to revisit our favorite sights and catch a few more plays. Our hotel could not have been situated any better and allowed us to walk to many important venues as well as catch the Underground.

There is so much to see and do in London, this tour gave us a great head start on the sights and sounds of the city. Roy provided invaluable information about riding the "Tube" to get around the city. Riding around the city on a vintage double decker bus was delightful. Getting to sit in the driver's seat for a photo was icing on the cake. Visiting the Tower of London BEFORE all the crowds showed up was priceless.

London has so much to see and experience! For that reason, I'm glad that we chose the week in London tour. It would be very difficult to fit everything into just two or three days. Some days were a little long and tiring, but I really didn't want to miss any of the sights.

"The Tower of London was a great experience. Loved the "Beefeater" guides, for the opening ceremony and the tour of the Tower. It was a privilege to see the opening ceremony and to be one of the first in to see the Crown Jewels. What can you say about seeing the jewels up close? Fabulous."

Tour of London was exhausting. It has been awhile since I have walked so much! Enjoyed the sights and sounds of London, watching the people as they head to and from work on the Underground, enjoying their drinks at Pubs at lunchtime (!) and in the evening. London is such a large, cosmopolitan city, with many cultures and languages evident. Clearly, a modern and thriving metropolis, but one steeped in history.

The hotel was nice. However, my bed the first night had a sprung mattress. The hotel put me in a different room, not as new and nice, but at least comfortable. It seemed we missed going to the Tower of London. That was disappointing. I did enjoy the trip, though very much and thought the guide was great and the restaurants we were taken to, and we saw a number of different areas of the city. I would definitely take Rick Steves again.

The afternoon tea, the food tour, and the pub visit were great. The hotel was in a perfect location and made it very easy to access the tube. Overall I had a wonderful time on my first Rick Steve's tour. I felt it was well organized, stress-free, and provided a wonderful experience exploring London. The accommodations were located perfectly in the heart of the action. Easy to access so many of the sites. The various experiences were well planned and insightful.

Favorite "WOW" moment

"While visiting Windsor Castle, I was able to discover exciting details of my family tree. Two relatives were Knights of the Garter and I was able to see their two crests in the ceiling of St. George's Hall and within the St. George's Choir area. The experience was so much more meaningful than I had hoped for."

I can't say enough good things about my London experience with Rick Steves. The tour was well-paced and our guides were friendly, informative, helpful (I needed to get from London to the Cotswolds and Liz helped me with the train ticket information - invaluable!), good natured, and expressed an excellent sense of humor! The food tour was fantastic, but I must say the tour of the Globe Theater was the highlight of all the tours.

The guides were wonderful. The London tour felt like work instead of a vacation. We were on our feet constantly for many hours every day and we had little opportunity to relax. London is crowded and difficult to get about; in comparison, Paris is easier to get about and offers more opportunities to relax.

"My WOW moment was while touring Windsor Castle, seeing about a dozen 7 year-olds re-enact the coronation of the Queen. What a wonderful experience."

The tour was an excellent introduction to London and all things British. I especially appreciated the $ 50-BP transportation card we were given at our first meeting. It was good for all types of transportation including the Tube, Buses, and Trains. Made getting around London with the Tour and especially when I was on my own, which was at least half the time. We had an excellent tour guide, always well prepared, available during the tour and made himself available at each of our breakfast.

Favorite "WOW" moment

"I think the early morning arrival at Windsor Castle and experiencing the changing of the guard with the marching big marching bad and all the fress guard march up the road and through the town of Windsor and into the Castle. The second and equally WOW was the walking tour of Windsor Castle room and the private room of the Queen and her Consort. We even got to see their bedrooms, sitting rooms, dressing room. The Castle is overwhelmingly beautiful and stunningly decorated. We got to see it all."

After years of watching Rick Steves on TV (and being envious of his job!), this was my first RS tour. I wish I would have done it sooner! With all the details taken care, I was free to truly experience London rather than stress about logistics or ticket lines. It was the perfect first trip to London and I am completely empowered to return on my own (Thanks Tom!). I can't imagine a better way to travel abroad and am already planning my next RS tour.

I learned much more about London that I ever expected thanks to our wonderful guide Tom. I liked the fact we walked a lot and also used the underground and surface trains to see diverse sites ranging from St. Paul's Cathedral to the National Gallery to East London. This trip was an excellent introduction to London! I'd love to go back for a second tour of London with a new itinerary.

The Best of London tour was our second with Rick Steves. We have decided that there is no better way to "learn a city and it's nuances" than with a well qualified guide. And, Rick Steve's tours has the best of the best in guides. We were well orientated to London (and the tube) by day 3 and confident enough to set out on our own when time allowed. The Best of London tour scratches the surface of what the city has to offer while offering insight to its history and livelihood.

"Our "wow" moment was the visit to the London Tower and subsequent walk with "Billy Beefeater". Hysterical and informative at the same time!. We also appreciated the walking tour of East London, Windsor and the Churchill War Rooms that several in our group visited together."

Excellent tour! Our second Rick Steves tour which did not disappoint. Our tour guide Tom was excellent, took great care of us, very knowledgeable, he was a wealth of information. "So hard to choose as I feel as if the entire tour was a big "wow" moment! A few things really stand out and those are the Beefeater at the Tower of London; we joined the tour with him and it was hilarious, and very informative, a nice history lesson there. Also loved Windsor Castle, and especially the train ride through the countryside. It was nice to get a glimpse of the country outside of London."

My experience was beyond what I was expecting. There was a good mix of being on tour and allowing us to explore London on our own. When I tell and show people about my tour, they are amazed as to how much I saw and experienced. I will cherish my time in London and the people I met on the tour for the rest of my life.

Favorite "WOW" moment

"Standing inside St. Paul's cathedral and looking up at the painted dome. Coupled with the fact that so many historical events occurred at St. Paul's and I am standing in the exact same spot where these momentous events occurred is humbling. Then, seeing the American Memorial Chapel that contains the leather bound book of the names of 28,000 US soldiers who were stationed in the UK during WWII was inspiring."

This was our first RS tour and it was outstanding. We wished to see London on a tour and not have to search and hunt landmarks on our own. We accomplished more in 7 days than we could have in twice the time by ourselves. Roy, our guide, was a wily veteran and his knowledge and guidance was exemplary. The hotel was centrally located with the tube station and great restaurants close at hand. All the beautiful cathedrals, monuments, museums, and landmarks were seen by our friendly group.

Overall, I think there was a good combination of escorted tours around the city with the guide and free time to explore on your own. Roy, our guide, was very knowledgeable about all the sites we visited and also very helpful if we needed guidance regarding any free time activities. I was very impressed with how smoothly everything went, especially using public transportation to get our group around a big city like London.

The guide, Jeannie, was excellent, the choice of sights to see was perfect, the balance between managed and free time was just about right. Also, the use of the Whispers was an added bonus, making it possible to hear everything the guide said.

The London Tour is ideal. You've included all the main sights - Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, Windsor & St. George's Chapel, The National Gallery, The British Museum, The Globe, the Borough Market, Covent Garden, the food tour of the East End & afternoon tea, but also included plenty of time for us to see the other attractions on our own. The whispers were a godsend and to see all the historical sights with Jeanie's narrative in our ear was sheer perfection.

Favorite "WOW" moment

"It had to be Westminster Abbey, but The Tower of London, Windsor Castle and St George's Chapel, St. Paul's, the National Gallery, The British Museum, the changing of the Horse Guards and the ride on the double decker bus were all close seconds."

The London city tour was well paced and covered most of the popular sites. Staying in one place was a nice change of pace especially since London had so many interesting sites to visit. Incredible tour. Sights were amazing, and our guide, Jeanie, was awesome. Because Jeanie has connections at Windsor castle, she was able to switch our schedule around to see Windsor castle early, as it was going to be closed on our scheduled visit day due to the upcoming wedding. I figured out, after the tour, that London is not really England. It is Washington DC and New York City combined with the look of Baltimore, MD. If you want history, especially of the royals, then this is for you. If you like loud crowds, then is is for you. If you want to only speak with people from France, India, Spain, Hungary, Italy, Germany, etc. then London is for you. If you want to meet actual English people and partake of a lot of English food then this is not it.

This was our 2nd Rick Steves tour having done Best of Europe in 14 days 3 years ago. We found the hotel to be excellent, centrally located and helpful staff. Tom was a great guide, entertaining, well versed in the city and attentive to individual tour members needs.
