Itinerary

Daily Activity Key
  • Light = 2–4 miles of mostly level walking throughout the day.
  • Moderate = 2–6 miles walking throughout the day with some hills and stairs.
  • Strenuous = 2–8 miles walking throughout the day with lots of hills, stairs, and uneven terrain.

Day 1: Welcome to London

We'll meet at our hotel in central London at 3 p.m. this afternoon to get acquainted. Then we'll set off on a neighborhood walk, before stepping aboard our very own vintage double-decker bus for a panoramic tour of "The Old Smoke" (London). We'll finish the evening with a "Welcome to London" dinner together. Sleep in London (6 nights). Walking: moderate.

Day 2: Westminster and Whitehall

After an Underground/Tube orientation, we'll wander through the City of Westminster. Our walk will take us past Buckingham Palace — punctuated by the smartly dressed, stony-faced Queen's Guard — and through St. James Park, a favorite for its resident pelicans, on our way to the majestic Westminster Abbey. We'll enjoy a guided tour of the abbey, where England's kings and queens have been crowned and buried since 1066, and continue with a history-laced walking tour along Whitehall. After a busy morning, we'll rest our feet while enjoying that quintessentially English experience: afternoon tea. Then you'll be ready to explore the treasure-packed British Museum. Walking: strenuous.

Day 3: The Tower, The City, and St. Paul's

This morning we'll head out early to witness the opening ceremony at the medieval Tower of London. Our early arrival will leave us first in line to join a Yeoman Warder "Beefeater" for an entertaining tour and a close-up look at the UK's magnificent collection of Crown Jewels. This afternoon, we'll take a walking tour of The City, the oldest part of London and today one of the world's key financial centers. Then we'll continue on to England's national church — Christopher Wren's majestically domed St. Paul's Cathedral — and hear how local "fire watcher" volunteers saved this symbol of British resolve during the bombing raids of World War II. Your evening is free — consider staying near St. Paul's to hear the evensong. Walking: strenuous.

Day 4: East London and the Churchill War Rooms

Today we'll venture out to the culturally diverse East End of London, where we'll find our lunch on a food tour. The tour will guide us through the history of the East End, tasting the influence of cultures along the way — from a traditional English bacon butty, to Indian curries to the beloved London takeaway, fish and chips. Once we have had our fill, we'll visit the Churchill War Rooms, where we'll get the inside story on the London Blitz and Britain's leadership during World War II. This evening is free and perfect for the theater (book a popular show in advance online or pick up a ticket in London). Walking: strenuous.

Day 5: Historic Windsor Castle

Today we'll catch a train and head out of town to Windsor Castle, the largest and oldest castle residence in the world. We'll spend the morning touring the Royal Family's castle, ornate St. George's Chapel, and the surrounding park. The remainder of the day is yours for poking around the quaint town of Windsor or for more sightseeing back in London. Tonight, join your guide and fellow tour members for a pint at a local pub and share the stories of your day's experience. This is another good night for the theater. Train: 2 hours. Walking: moderate.

Day 6: Borough Market and the South Bank

We'll begin our morning with a tour of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, the half-timbered and thatched-roofed replica of the original theater that was home to the playwright's productions in the late 1500s. Then we'll take a walking tour along the South Bank of the Thames. We'll see the Tower Bridge and Southwark Cathedral, and learn how this side of the river has evolved since Roman times. We'll end our tour at Borough Market, one of the oldest and largest food markets in London, with colorful produce and the wafting scents of grilled-cheese and duck-confit sandwiches. The afternoon is yours to enjoy lunch at the market, visit the Tate Modern, hop on a Thames River cruise, or take a ride on the London Eye. Tonight we'll meet for our "last supper" and raise a toast to London and new friends. Cheers! Walking: moderate.

Day 7: Tour Over After Breakfast

Breakfast is provided, but there are no group activities today. Heathrow and Gatwick airports can be easily reached by Tube, train, or taxi from our London neighborhood. For those not ready to return home yet, London is a great jumping off point to Paris, Dublin, Amsterdam, and many other exciting destinations. Cheerio!

Itinerary specifics subject to change.

I loved the variety of experiences and sites. Our tour group was congenial and fun. Our tour guide Tom was knowledgeable and funny. The hotel was centrally located and the daily breakfast was wonderful. The tube was nearby and very easy to navigate. I like having some free time to do a few things that were not part of the tour such as seeing shows in the evening. I feel like I saw the most important things in London, but I am ready to return to do some things we did not have time for.

Good hotel and location. Concierge good, but could have been some what more helpful in providing info, e.g., that taxis were not available before theater times, and what alternative travel might be more helpful. All good travelers in our group. Metro worked very well.

I enjoyed having Jaime as our knowledgeable guide. The traveling group was perfect and we made new friends. However, the reason I didn't rate my experience as outstanding is because there wasn't time when we visited "shopping" areas in the morning, while the shops were still closed, to stay a little after and actually shop. (This was food tour day) We seemed to be whisked off to another location rather quickly. Understandably, this was to keep the schedule but I feel that day should be revised.

First time trying a full week in one location. Although a hectic schedule, which is to be expected, it was good being in one location to unpack and enjoy that aspect. A lot was packed into one week, but we wouldn't have gotten the full flavor of London, if not. I thoroughly enjoyed the historical significance of this lovely city and the time to explore. We had a good group of people who were willing to do the work and get out there to see the world.

Favorite "WOW" moment

"I enjoyed Windsor Castle and the train ride. Seeing the Queen's initial home was remarkable. According to the waving flag, she wasn't present during tour, but was there later in afternoon. Also the Tower left a huge impression - especially when realizing the employees lived on the grounds. It was a beautiful location. The little town of Eaton was fun to explore. St. Paul's Cathedral was also quite memorable. Shakespeare Globe Theatre - another favorite. Loved Spitalfields!"

This was the first time we've ever taken a tour. During past visits to Europe we've always planned our own itinerary. We have friends who've taken Rick Steves' trips and spoke highly of the experience. We chose London because we stayed in one hotel for the entire tour. We arrived early and stayed longer. Good decision. The tour was wonderful. Great tour guide and a nice group of fellow travelers, none who were ever grumpy! The tour provided a nice overview of London and was a fabulous trip.

Jeanie Carmichael is an outstanding tour guide. Her commentary on everything was delightful, insightful, humorous, and helpful. The hotel was excellent; it was close to the underground, to Green Park, to the bus stop, to a grocery store, and coffee shops. Afternoon tea was not only delicious, it was enjoyable. The treats were a feast for the eyes as well as the tastebuds.

Favorite "WOW" moment

"Seeing the beautiful and iconic Tower Bridge on the way to the Tower of London. The Tower of London was pretty amazing. The ravens and their backstory was really interesting--I hadn't heard about them before--and the crown jewels were spectacular. It was amazing to think that those jewels are still in use and not just items in a museum. The beefeater guards were obviously proud of their jobs and culture; I was very happy to know that there are now women guards in their ranks."

This was our seventh RS tour, but our first city tour. We finished the Paris and Heart of France tour two days earlier. The city tour certainly has a different flavor: one hotel, no bus, shorter tour, less included dinners and happy hours. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed it. The first two days were quite active, perhaps too active. It was very nice to have the Oyster card loaded with 50 pounds. The quality of the bus on the first day of the tour was embarrassing; it rattled so much!

Favorite "WOW" moment

"My favorite WOW moment was not included in the tour. We stood at the exact same spot in front of Buckingham Palace where I had stood 57 years earlier, when I was 10 years old, watching the Changing of the Guard once again. While standing and watching The Merry Wives of Windsor, Falstaff, after drinking from a pint of beer, laughed, and then profusely spit out a mouthful of it upon the audience. After seeing Hitler's bunker at Berchtesgaden, I was shocked at how shallow Churchill's bunker was."

Overall it was just standing in places where so much of history has taken place--Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, the Tower of London, Churchill's War Room and Museum, the Globe Theatre, Westminster Abbey, and St. Paul's Cathedral. This was our first small group tour and being able to share and interact with our tour group really made our experience special. Tour guide Jeanie Carmichael made us realize that you can live in London for years but still find something new each day. We were immersed in the rich history of London, from its early occupation by the Romans to the Victorian Age to the siege during WWII by Germany. Finally, the London public transportation system was exceptional--especially the Underground!

Favorite "WOW" moment

"Seeing Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle was definitely our favorite "wow" moment. As we were touring Windsor Castle, the Royal Family's Castle, we got caught up in a large crowd. This is different from the typical Rick Steves tour in that we never changed hotels. We were in the same room for ten days in London which made for a very homey experience. "My favorite moment was something not on the tour, but recommended as a side excursion - visiting the Houses of Parliament. We went on their tour which is the way to come away with the greatest understanding of the place. Tours must be prebooked, which serves to minimize waiting times. Love, Love, Loved Jeanie!Although our tour group had 12 people that frequently traveled together, Jeanie did her best to make this an inclusive trip for all. I will never again stay at the Washington hotel. The staff was useless, did not speak English well, could not even help me figure out how to use my US based phone in the UK (unbelievable, as they must have many US guests), and told me they charged my credit card 50 pounds when it was really 100 pounds (in case I incurred any charges during my stay). They sent someone to my room late at night to help me with my TV who DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH AT ALL. They were totally, utterly incompetent.

This was our 4th RS tour. We continue to be impressed with how Rick Steves keeps coming up with such great guides. Gillian not only has a wealth of knowledge, but is also a genuinely nice person with a good sense of humor. Our tour was perfect in many ways. One of the very best parts was simply the location of our lodgings - near the West End and next door to the British Museum, and close to easy to use transportation. Jeanne's encouragement to use public transportation on our own time to go to the theater, shop, and go out to dinner was a winner too.

Jeanie's local perspective added a lot of flavor and enjoyment to our tour.We got more than interesting facts about history and what we were seeing, but also her own citizen's POV about life in the U.K., London. This helped us to feel that we were really experiencing the city rather than just passing through as observers. Using alternate tour guides in some of the venues, plus the food tour, kept things fresh and energetic. Being coached in the use of public transportation was a huge help.

Favorite "WOW" moment

"Nothing "wow" comes to mind. It was Jeanie's personal, organized, relaxed, empowering, and humorous approach that made this such a special trip. I would say that her description of how she personally attends the Shakespeare Globe theatre with "groundling" (standing) tickets - and how unique and engaging that experience is - inspired us to check that out. It was not originally on our bucket list but it was an amazing evening that was super fun and truly unique to London."

WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY LONDON, A CITY WE HAD AVOIDED IN A FEW PAST VISITS TO THE UK - WE WERE INTIMIDATED AND NOT SURE WHAT TO DO OR HOW TO NAVIGATE THE CITY. IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE THE TOUR ORGANIZED, EXPECIALLY FOR AN ACTIVE GROUP OF TOURISTS. LONDON'S JUXTAPOSITION OF HISTORICAL STRUCTURES AND NEW ARCHITECTURE, ALONG WITH THE CITY'S AND COUNTRY'S HISTORY IS INCREDIBLE. THE CITY IS VIBRANT AT NIGHT WITH LOTS TO DO – THEATERS AND CONCERTS. FREE TIME ALLOTED WAS JUST RIGHT.

We really enjoyed the tour. We were able to see many more sites and try many different foods by virtue of having the leadership of Gilliam. London is somewhat unique in that you are on your feet the whole day- no sitting on a bus/shuttle for travel from one site to another. You walked or tubed there. We also thought it was unique in the amount of time allowed to develop your own plans for eating and siteseeing. Some thought that was great, others found it onerous.

Tour was as described. We are a family of 4 (parents with adult sons). Everyone loved the experience. Tour guide made the experience. We were astounded at how gracefully she was able to make changes on the fly when any obstacles were thrown in her way. I am happy with this tour experience in London as it gave me a good solid foundation of the area and made my month stay in London much richer and fulfilling. Wonderful.I don't see how we could of seen much more. Besides seeing all the sites we learned so much about the history of each place we visited. That was a big plus. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about every where we went and went to lengths to answer every question we all asked her. It was truly a history lesson for and was great not having to wait in the regular tourist long lines too.I cant stop looking at all pictures and sharing what what we have learned and experienced.

"They were all WOW moments. However I really enjoyed the tour of The Tower of London. There was so much to see at that site. We got to meet The Beefeaters and I actually got to speak to the head Beefeater. To actually see the site where so much history occurred, where the Queens and others had lost their heads. WOW!"

The tour was just what I was hoping for. Seeing the highlights of London with an excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly guide, and sharing the experience with a nice group of people. Like other Rich Steves tours I've been on, we learned how to find our way around using public transportation which gives one the confidence for return trips on one's own. We saw the expected sights including museums, Tower of London, Globe Theatre, Windsor Palace, etc. I used up my Oyster card seeing extra sights.

Favorite "WOW" moment

"1. The British Museum was at the top of my list and I was thrilled to see it! I even added a few days on my own at the end of the tour so I could spend an entire extra day at the British Museum, and I still didn't begin to see it all. 2. The Natural History Museum was wonderful too, like David Attenborough's "Alive" documentary! 3. A third "wow" moment for me was going to see the Royal Ballet at the Royal Opera House in Convent Garden."

We chose this tour because of all the sites/experiences it crammed in to 7 days. And we're very glad we did. Even though I know there is so much to see/do in London, I really felt as thought we had done it ALL in this tour! And also had time on our own to do as we pleased. Jeanie was a fabulous guide, with so much information and history told with humor and personal insight as well.

This was an excellent tour and met or exceeded all of our expectations. My comments are mostly on tour management which was excellent in my opinion. The tour itself was the first one of the 2019 year and it was the week before Easter, and also there were a number of protests in downtown London. Our guide dealt with these challenges which was no easy task. He always exhibited grace, good humor and provided good advice and effective leadership. My highest respect and compliments to Tom!

The Best of London tour was our second with Rick Steves. We have decided that there is no better way to "learn a city and it's nuances" than with a well qualified guide. And, Rick Steve's tours has the best of the best in guides. We were well orientated to London (and the tube) by day 3 and confident enough to set out on our own when time allowed. I figured out, after the tour, that London is not really England. It is Washington DC and New York City combined with the look of Baltimore, MD. If you want history, especially of the royals, then this is for you. If you like loud crowds, then is is for you. If you want to only speak with people from France, India, Spain, Hungary, Italy, Germany, etc. then London is for you. If you want to meet actual English people and partake of a lot of English food then this is not it.

The London Tour is ideal. You've included all the main sights - Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, Windsor & St. George's Chapel, The National Gallery, The British Museum, The Globe, the Borough Market, Covent Garden, the food tour of the East End & afternoon tea, but also included plenty of time for us to see the other attractions on our own. This was our 2nd Rick Steves tour having done Best of Europe in 14 days 3 years ago. We found the hotel to be excellent, centrally located and helpful staff. Tom was a great guide, entertaining, well versed in the city and attentive to individual tour members needs. The tour was great--exposed to many things around the city, not too long at any one place perhaps leaving me with the desire to go back, i.e. more time in the British museum.

He is very informative about British history, architecture, art, food...you name it. He makes a huge effort to get to know each tour member and has a great sense of humour. The tour took travelers to the highlights of this beautiful city as well as areas we might not have visited on our own such as the east part of the city. We had a very lovely ride on a double decker bus on the first evening. The hotel was safe and well situated for walking to attractions. The daily tours were strenuous as indicated. Tom Hooper, our guide was outstanding with his knowledge of the city and suggestions for restaurants, etc. The other guides were also fantastic. A+ for the tour!

"There were many wow moments but mine was going up the five hundred steps to the top of St. Paul's Cathedral and admiring the beautiful views of London. It's a challenging climb but well worth it. From the first encounter with the planning until the final night of the tour was a fabulous experience. The tour had a good balance of experiences (history, culture, etc) and locations around London. There was also a good balance of group touring time vs free time. Having the guide teach us how to use the tube was invaluable, and helped us become more independent quickly. Loved the open air markets. Good suggestion to add on day on each end of the tour. We supplemented on our own with Churchill War Rooms & Museum, Buckingham Palace State Rooms tour, & Apsley House.

This was my first 7 day city tour. I have taken 2 other longer tours with Rick Steves before. I was a bit dissatisfied with this type of tour. I understand that they want to pack as much activities and sites as possible in 7 days to get your money's worth but we were completely exhausted every single day. With guide, Gillian, we had a most interesting and informative tour of the City of London. Gillian ran a tight ship, she knew her subject very well and was able to give us a knowledgeable and insightful experience, answering questions and making sure everyone was comfortable. She gave us little "treats" along the way, she checked on people who might be having difficulties and made provisions for them. Well done, Gillian, and Rick Steves!

Our guide Gillian was exceptional, very knowledgeable and easy to get to know. She kept us on time and was good about making sure all were accounted for. We learned so very much, more than I or my husband and brother and sister-in-law could have ever gleaned if we had pursued this experience on our own. All in our tour were friendly and easy to get to know. I won't soon forget Susan, Liz, Elizabeth, and so many others. They all made our tour that much more fun. Really wonderful bunch.

A truly wonderful tour with another great tour leader. Jamie is the perfect combination of knowledge, humor, organization, and exuberance. London speaks for itself, of course, but with a tour leader such as he, you can't go wrong. My wife and I are in good physical condition but this is a very active tour. Participants should be made very aware of this fact. The bus tour of the local area is not necessary.. The Churchill War Rooms should be a part of the tour.

The worst part is the flight over. I made sure I got good seats with lots of leg room on every leg. Costs more, but worth it. The London transportation system is easy to use and to learn. The food was very good which surprised my neighbor when I got back. He was born in Spain and tried the London pubs years ago and did not like the smoke or the food. They are all smoke free and most serve good food now.

Outstanding trip except for: 1) Add more guided tour time than free time; we can always skip out if we're too tired. 2) The guided time felt rushed which if slowed down slightly adding an extra hour, it would give us more time to take in and enjoy the sites. 3) The listening devices used on this tour were defective for many of us requiring us to be no more than 5 feet away from guides to be able to hear them. This was a different experience in that we stayed in one place and it was almost entirely an urban experience. We certainly enjoyed seeing London for the first time and learned a lot about the history of Great Britain in general. We also became fairly proficient in using the tube, a necessary skill to have in getting around town. This tour felt rushed to me. "I am having a difficult time selecting one wow moment on this tour. The double decker bus tour was lovely. I enjoyed being on the bus and it was a nice way to start our tour, even though due to Ride London we went on the bus tour on the second day. Seeing the sights, with Jeannie's impressive commentary, was fun and informative. The traditional double decker bus was charming and I am glad that I had the opportunity to ride on one."

First of all, I had the best time! My fellow travelers were a fun loving group--definitely no grumps! I thought the trip was a great value. I knew exactly what to expect and enjoyed every minute. It was a good balance of tour time and free time. I was thrilled to be able to get around on public transportation.

I anticipated the tour to be excellent based on travelers' reviews and Rick Steves' books and programming, but this tour exceeded my already high expectations. The entire week was well planned. We walked and used public transportation to see a wide variety of London from must see sites such as Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey, to less traveled neighborhoods and markets. The entire week moved at the perfect pace.

"At the end of a fun-filled day, I asked my 12-year old daughter to share her favorite part of the day. To my surprise, she said, "The National Gallery. Tom brought every painting to life." Wow! I did not expect that. Indeed, our tour guide, Tom Hooper, was an exceptional story teller. He shared interesting details we would never have picked up on. He did bring every painting to life!"

This tour very much matched our expectations after being familiar with Rick Steves' show. Each night we were exhausted from all the walking, but we wouldn't have had it any other way. We enjoyed using the public transport and felt like experts by the end. Tom did a great job of making all the tour members feel like a cohesive group and we made some new friends on the trip.

"The food tour was exceptional. I wish I could remember the name of the lady that showed us around. She was great (from South Africa). My other highlight was climbing St. Paul's. The tour guide downplayed it and so many people didn't do it. The stairs were a tough climb and I can see why she would caution people about it, but it was a highlight for me. My wife and I were the only ones from our group to go all the way to the top and I'm glad we did."

London provided great weather, masses of people, unusual events (protests, world cup events) and lots of traffic despite London's attempts to limit that. The tour took all of that into consideration to decrease or capitalize on happenings. Tom Hooper was the key to everything! Droll, energetic, knowledgeable, and upbeat from the beginning. You didn't dare be thin-skinned though he was never mean-spirited as many sarcastic people can become. He handled kids beautifully.

High marks all around to the Rick Steves' organization for putting together a great visit to London. For me, as a single traveler who has been to London before, it was the perfect opportunity to revisit favorite sites such as St. Paul's Cathedral and see new ones, such as the Globe Theatre. Jeanie was excellent in providing leadership with a calm demeanor. Our hotel, Washington Mayfair, was air conditioned and comfortable, and the breakfasts everyday got us off to a great start.

Our tour guide was excellent, the hotel accommodations were very good. Low-light: The cost of a room was very high to come in the day before the tour started. There was an issue with the hotel not wanting to honor a written agreement to get the additional night for a certain rate and then stay in the room the rest of the week. They mumbled about a room upgrade but grudgingly didn't make us move the day the tour started. High-light: the food included in the tour was excellent every single time

This was a excellent tour in all respects. It was very hot in London, a city not really prepared for it. So it was a bit of a challenge getting around by underground, train and public buses. But, given London traffic, it was the only way to get around. More importantly, getting to know the system allowed us to visit many sites. (We use what we learn on the Rick Steve's portion of our trip to prepare us for further independent travel.)

"By chance, the 100 year birthday of the RAF was being celebrated while we were there. It was great that our guide had the ability to alter our itinerary. My wow moment? Standing in front of Buckingham Palace with 75,000 Britons watching the RAF fly by. And seeing the Queen watching with us."

I believe this tour was the best way to see a major city. With so much to do, it is great to have a local guide who easily led our group of 24. The addition of the 'whisper' devices was a treat and a must for us to hear our leader on busy streets and at sites. The itinerary truly cut across the interests of all: a historic museum, food opportunities, art, historic places, etc. We even participated in the RAF 100 anniversary and saw the Queen.

"We were in London on an amazing week: Wimbledon, England in the World Cup semi-finals, political protest, and the RAF 100th Anniversary. Jeanie worked our schedule to help us to participate in some of these events. This flexibility was amazing, and did not take away from our itinerary. Bottom line: seeing the Royal Family at Buckingham."

The overall experience is kind of a blur - but a happy blur! We covered a lot of ground each day, saw a variety of events and tourist "must sees" and availed ourselves of opportunities for activities that occurred during our stay. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable and downright fun. The tour mix of sights and activities seemed just right and I thought gave me a good taste of what London had to offer and set us up for what we would add the next week after the tour ended.

Favorite "WOW" moment

"Standing with 70,000 British citizens outside Buckingham Palace, seeing the Queen and family come out to the balcony and then watching 100 RAF planes fly overhead. We felt truly lucky taking advantage of the once in a lifetime event and enjoyed chatting with our English friends around us on the lawn as we waited for the flyover. That our guide was able to change our itinerary so that we could add in this event and still see everything was priceless - we will never forget this afternoon."

One of the best experiences of my life. The tour and our guide Jeanie made it what it was. The most admirable thing for me about this tour and our guide is how she really made it all about safety first. I can not wait to take another Rick Steves tour. Overall, loved out tour experience. Our guide, Jeanie, was EXCELLENT! She personalized the information she provided based on the interests of the group. She was full of so much information and was just so funny. Everyone in the group got along very well. There were no grumpy people! Gilian, our tourguide was simply fantastic...She provided us all with an enriching experience. Our hotel acommodations was probably the worst We have experienced in over 43 countries' tours. The housekeeping was abominable, to the inclusion of missing an entire day of cleaning. The tour plan was well executed with an properly advertised strenuous activity.

This was our first trip outside the United States and my wife and I could not have been more satisfied. The tour was informative, including well-known points of interest i.e Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, Westminster Abbey, etc. as well as lesser known areas, such as East London and Spitfield Market. Plus, we gained a familiarization of London's transit system, the Tube, and feel confident that we can travel anywhere in London in the future.

Favorite "WOW" moment

"There were many "WOW" moments. However, if we were to name one, it would be the "Tower of London" tour, viewing the crown jewels, the Beefeaters tour and we also watched a reenactment of the "Execution of Ann Boleyn," which was quite enjoyable. The food tour of East London was also wonderful."

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour in London. London is a vibrant and energetic city, full of history, culture, and natural beauty. We enjoyed learning how to navigate our way throughout the city by using public transportation, especially the underground tube system. This was a new experience for us, as we do not have this kind of service in our small town in Oregon. Each tour day was filled with exciting adventures and experiences that have enriched our understanding of Londoners

Favorite "WOW" moment

"London is a city of many "wow" moments. However, we were mesmerized with the British Museum and our day trip to Windsor. How exciting it was for us to be in St. George's Chapel where the recent royal wedding was held! We have gained a new appreciation for historical places and all of the hard work done over the centuries to build such amazing statues, memorials, and buildings."
